Zimbabwe and Iran share similar objectives in skills and technology transfer, and the engagements between Ambassador B. Kupemba and the provincial leadership of Mazandaran and the Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences provided an opportunity for the two sides to explore areas potential of areas of cooperation in the field of medical sciences and traning of personnel. Joint programmes will be in the areas of joint research, training of medical personnel, and medical tourism, among others.
