Zimbabwe and Iran signed an MoU on Cooperation in the Field of Agriculture in July 2023, to boost joint projects between the two countries in agriculture, agriculture mechanisation; trade in agriculture produce and farm implements, joint research in various fields of agriculture, and joint manufacture of agricultural products. These projects are expected to improve the food security situation of both countries. Both Iran and Zimbabwe promote private sector participation in trade and investment in various subsectors of agriculture.
